Such a good word. I have always loved PK's, "We honor because WE are honorable." The hard part, shutting my mouth and not telling my side of the story. And oh, The "paying the price" - "take dominion" without the "subdue it" part!

Why is it that when we walk the way, we're met with so many chances at dishonor? Why do our personal battles with pride sting so deeply and seemingly reveal hidden layers of pain and hurt? The cross we bear is over-encumbered by the opportunities to respond in kind, but can I lay them down? Time will reveal.

Sad, in that if outrage is currency, we’d have a lot of rich people. If honor were currency… abject poverty.
