God help me love the liberal theologians. Love that I get to read these thoughts!

This is great Pastor Josh! We’ve seen many miracles with our own eyes, even just in our church, let alone the entire world. I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and is infallible and what we should live by!

One thing we must understand when reading the Bible is that it is an interpretation. Everyone carries their own bias and therefore makes assumptions when reading and deciphering the text. I don’t see this as an enormous issue unless our opinions changes how we interpret salvation. I think as the body of Christ we will definitely have differences but we all must agree on who is the head. And that head is what gives orders to the rest of the body. It is good to realize or know your bias when entering into a possible argument on definitions, semantics and so forth.

A great example is the argument between old earth creation and young earth creation. Both are arguing the Bible is the truth, pull from scripture and proof text. As long as at the core both can agree that Jesus is our only path to salvation, they can come together and work as a functioning body.

Thank you for sharing this! I love hearing the “why” in your preaching/teachings, but to be able to read and reflect on it takes it to another level. Thank you for being you.
